“Stevenson Farm-Franklin Center, Quebec” (Circa 1950’s)

This is a painting of (my Mother-in-law) Shirley’s childhood farm. She gave be some old aerial photographs of the farm and asked me to paint a whimsical version of it for her. The next painting I posted is of (my Father-in-law) Gerry’s family’s property where his family spent their summers at their log cabin in the country. Incidentally, Gerry’s property was located right beside Shirley’s. They met here as children, and years later they dated and then got married…What an honour to paint these memorable places for them:)
