How it Works

Your Private Painting Party includes a two-hour painting package. Choose a painting the Art Gallery to replicate during your event. All art supplies, table coverings and set up are provided by the Artist, Carmen Suter. She skilfully instructs your group with easy to follow instructions during a two-hour painting session.

Each person will take home their very own 11” x 14” Masterpiece!

Package Includes

  • A Two Hour Group Painting Class in your Home
  • Fun and Easy to Follow Instruction by Local Artist, and business owner Carmen Suter
  • All Necessary Supplies: 11”x14” Canvas, Paint, Pallettes, Brushes, Table coverings
  • Setup and Clean Up

Cost: Monday-Saturday: $50 / person

Everything You Need To Know!

There is a *5 minimum to 15 maximum number of participants required. (Some conditions may apply). I book Private Painting Parties Mondays through Saturdays. Cost is $50 per person.

*5 participant minimum (or a $250 minimum flat party rate for less than 5 participants).

There is an additional travel for all events greater than 20 km from my business address: L4N 7Z4, Barrie, ON. The cost is (TBD)/ km (beyond 20 km from my address) each way. Google Maps will be used to determine the distance. (It is solely at my discretion to determine if I will travel to your location. Please send me an inquiry.)

Yes. I require a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at the time of the Private Party booking. This deposit will be applied to the total bill. This deposit is to hold the party date and guarantee services. The date and time WILL NOT be reserved until this fee has been paid. Reservations made within seven days of the scheduled event date will be paid in full at the time of reservation. Payment will be accepted via e-transfer.

*PAINT YOUR OWN PET parties may require a larger deposit. Some conditions may apply.

 

Final payment is due the day of the party before the event begins. No exceptions.

If you need to postpone your party I will work with you to reschedule your party (based on availability) as long as you cancel 7 days prior to your original party date. If you choose to simply cancel with me for any reason after the 7 day cancellation period expires your deposit will not be refunded.

All guests should arrive no later than 20 minutes before the scheduled event time. This ensures that all guests are in attendance, the fee is paid in full, and that the event will start on time. If necessary, I can delay the start of the event, however, this will cut into the allotted amount of time scheduled for the event. The event will still have to end at the scheduled time. Parties can be extended for an additional fee.

Need more time to make announcements? Need more time to paint? Parties can be extended for an additional cost. The fee to extend your party is $20 half hour.

You get to pick! Check out my Art Gallery and select a painting. Many of the painting options are very versatile, and YOUR personal touches will make your Masterpiece UNIQUE!

No worries!! My classes are for painters of ALL skill levels, especially beginners. I will assist you in creating your very own masterpiece…Step-by-Step.

Absolutely nothing! I bring all the supplies needed for the class. You just come to the Party and discover the Inner PICASSO in YOU!

Hostess information:

All you need to host a party is:

  • Tables and chairs with lots of elbow room. (About the size of a table setting)
  • Adequate lighting (Grab an extra lamp if need be to light up our workspace)
  • Access to water – for filling water cups and cleaning paint brushes
  • Light music is a great addition!

We Supply:

table covering, aprons, paper towels, canvas, paint brushes, paint and all other painting related supplies. At the end we tidy up, and properly dispose of the waste.

Art Gallery

Sit back and relax!! All you need to host a party is to provide is a well-lit room with table and chairs for your guests. Running water and parking near the front door is also required. You collect your guests’ payments, and send Carmen a deposit via etransfer. Final payment is due on the day of your party. That’s it!

Carmen cleans up the work area at the end of the class so YOU can have more time to socialize with your Party guests! Carmen’s painting classes only use acrylic paint which is very easy to clean up.
